Kicking off a beautiful programme in the township
Related to country: South Africa

The Ubuntu Bamadoda programme in Khayelitsha is kicking off in June 2006!
The programme is using Isicathamiya (African Male voice choral singing) to impact the community in the township of Khayelitsha.

We aim to reduce gender based violence and the rate of HIV/AIDS infection in the areas we perform and live in.

We`have three choirs active and hope to establish two more.

The adult choirs are also embarking on a mentor programme to pass positive values to boys from men, while learning Isicathamiya.

More news of this exciting programme to follow!
